Welcome to NJGrassfedfoods.com!  It's all about living life in the slow lane.     About Our Products: At 7th Heaven Farm, meat and egg products are raised on pasture.  Pasture raised animals range freely, grazing on pasture and/or browsing in the wood spring through fall.  During the winter months, they are still free to roam, however their diet consists of various types of baled hay and grasses.  At 7th Heaven Farm, animals are never confined.. Carla is the owner and main caretaker of the animals.  She provides them with lots of love and attention, and they are afforded the best foodstuff, supplements and medical care when (if) needed.  Each animal is treated more like a domestic pet than barnyard animal. The breeding stock is provided an all-natural diet; they are rarely fed grain and only medicated when necessary (injured or sick).  If an adult animal requires grain, an all-natural, vegetarian, preservative free product or a dried alfalfa grass pellet is provided. The offspring are raised with the same love and attention.  Those intended for slaughter are given minimal vaccinations (to ensure good health and uncontaminated flesh).  Babies are ranging freely with their mothers until processing time.  They have free choice of mother's milk, hay, grass, browse and required minerals 24/7. Animals intended for food are USDA inspected, and processed at an Animal Welfare Approved, USDA certified,  family owned facility.  Veal, beef, goat and lamb are sold in bulk.  Each individual cut is flash frozen and packaged like those found in the grocery store.  Before an animal is processed, a non-refundable deposit is taken.  The remainder must be paid in cash, money order or cashier check upon pickup.  Orders are pick up at the Farm at an arranged date and time.
